Unfortunately, Brown's phone is a literal brick so your character won't get a taste of his suave inbox voice until he is convinced for an upgrade, however he also happens to posses a pager! However that is even helpful considering what year it is. So yeah, your character can only phonecall and page him, good luck with that.

BRICKPHONE NO MORE, he now has a snazzy little touchscreen phone, but he still keeps his pager. He can also be contact through his radio station's phoneline on it's off days.
