HEADCANONS
+ Brown's natural hair color is, indeed, a very dark shades of brunet/black. The current color is dyed yes, but the headcanon part is the color. Depending on the lighting, it can look more crimson than it being more of a maroon-ish color.
+ He actually had a part-time job, it's where he manages to have all those rings and bracelets. A 14 month track record of being a part timer in some bookstore on a corner somewhere in Mikage.
+ That being said, it's how he also got his pager in the first place. He also owns a mobile phone! From the 80s, it's a hand-me-down, alright.
+ Brown actually still indulges stuff he grew up with in the 80s with some particular introduce to him thanks to either his parents or the neighbor's kid that happens to be a few years older than him, this includes some western pop groups like Wham to manga like Dr. Slump.
+ Canonically, his luck stat tends to have the highest boost out of all party members aside from the MC. He has some uncanny luck when you get down to it, not necessarily good luck, but his luck tend to fall a bit to the extreme.Luckily though, not enough to gain an SHSL title.
+ He likes pop music! Or rather, western pop and idol music back in the day. He grew up with Seiko Matsuda's music as well possibly watching his mother's collection of Onyanko Club VHS. Unbiasedly a fan of Spice Girls as well.
+ He somewhat has a type when it comes to dating- it's canon that Brown has a crush or at least really like Tamaki Uchida and he also got carried away during Yuriko Yamamoto's perky entrance. It's kind of easy to think that Brown possibly fancies girls who are perky or full of energy, which is admittedly somewhat shallow but he's ultimately a sap and possibly -subconsciously- wish for someone full of energy to pull him through.
+ I realize this should probably get in here as well since it might put into attention to some people. But I write Brown's pattern of speech quite differently from how it's presented in the localized version of both Revelations and SMT: Persona! He is pretty egoistical and rude, his preferred way of referring himself is ore-sama and he doesn't really use much honorifics in the Japanese script aside from joking. I sometimes try to make this in similar tone by having him name dropping himself or using something ridiculous to refer him, such as 'yours truly' or 'moi' etc.
He also has a bit of an accent going as well as slurring some words here and there, so "makin'" "doin'" "ya" "y'know", etc. I can't remember correctly but I vaguely remember he likes making odd references as he talk, but this is mostly a personal preference if not, I guess. Puns are a definite, no escaping that. The accent is actually somewhat exaggerated, he drops it when the situation calls.
I'm mostly matching up the US version of the port, so he tends to be first name basis on everyone when not on nicknames, but he does also call a few people by their last names. So;
MC: MC's last name, but frequently nickname
Maki Sonomura: Maki
Yuka Ayase: Yuka, but frequently Ayase
Eriko Kirishima: Elly
Yukino Mayuzumi: Yukino, 'Boss', Mayuzumi-san, big sister Mayuzumi
Kei Nanjo: Nanjo
Masao Inaba: Mark, on certain occasion, Masao. (Maaay call him Massy just to mess with him if he ever finds out however.)
Reiji Kido: Kido
Tamaki Uchida: Tamaki(-chan)
Kenta Yokouchi: Toro
Tsutomu Kurouri: Devil Boy
Saeko Takamin: Ms. S
Takashi Hanya: Hannya

+ I'm mostly making an assumption but I believe St. Hemelin's a roman catholic based school? I vaguely remember seeing a cross in the school entrance. In any cases, I'm assuming that Brown's not religiously incline, if believe anything, though he may most likely believe in Shinto or Buddha. Though, thanks to attending St. Hemelin, he does understand bits and things regarding catholic beliefs, most flew by his head still though. I'M MORE OR LESS VAGUE ABOUT THIS...
+ He watches Featherman when he was a kid, this is where he actually got the idea of that superhero comment during the beginning of the game. He probably even owns a mask of one of the characters. u_u
+ His 'me time' hobbies tend to revolve around watching TV or reading manga yes, but he does read and play a bit of video games. He owns a NES, it was a birthday gift.
